Welcome to the Lilium and Bulb Society of South Australia Inc.

The Society meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month (except July) at 7.30pm in The Village Well Community Centre at 54 Strathalbyn Road, Aldgate, 5154.
From City:
Take the Stirling freeway exit and continue through Stirling to Aldgate. Go straight through the roundabout, past the CFS Station on the left and The Village Well is on the right as you go up the hill. (See Google map at the bottom of this page)

This web site is in it's early stages of development. We expect to be able to publish a monthly update in our "Gardener's Blog" page of both the current Society minutes, and at least one entry on that page relating to seasonal requirements of particular species, and "How to" information.

We have a number of experts amongst our members who are more than willing to pass on advice for gardeners who are trying to grow a range of bulb species. These include not only Liliums, but many rare species not normally grown in Australia.

Please feel free to email us (use one of the "Contact" pages) with your questions (and suggestions).

Need to re-stock your garden with fabulous bulbs?
We love The Dewitt family's Red Earth Bulb Farm!

Greg Lawrence

On April 5th, Greg Lawrence will talk about "growing knowledge".

Have you ever wondered why Greg presents so many beautifully-grown plants at shows & meetings?
It’s more than having the fertile Summertown soil - so come along and pick up some great ideas from this long-time member of the L & B society.
